VPN (Virtual Private Network)

A Virtual Private Network creates an authenticated and encrypted tunnel between endpoints across an untrusted network, using protocols such as IPsec, WireGuard, OpenVPN, or TLS-based SSL VPN. Operators use VPNs to connect remote sites and admin staff; consumers use them to mask source IP. Strong cipher suites, modern key exchange, and multi-factor authentication are essential for secure deployment.
