EES (Edge Enabler Server)
Also known as: Edge Enabler Server
The EES is the 3GPP edge-computing function (TS 23.558) deployed in an Edge Data Network that provides supporting APIs to Edge Application Servers, including registration, discovery of other EASes, capability exposure and interaction with the 3GPP core over N33/N6. It is the server-side counterpart of the Edge Enabler Client running on the UE.
