EEC (Edge Enabler Client)
Also known as: Edge Enabler Client
The EEC is the 3GPP edge-computing client (TS 23.558) running on the UE that discovers available Edge Application Servers via the ECS, registers with the EES, and provides supporting services to Application Clients such as connectivity information and configuration. It is the UE-side counterpart of the Edge Enabler Server.
