ECS (Edge Configuration Server)
Also known as: Edge Configuration Server
The ECS is the 3GPP edge-computing function (TS 23.558) that provides configuration information to Edge Enabler Clients, in particular the list of available Edge Enabler Servers reachable for the UE's location and slice. It is the entry point that lets a UE bootstrap its edge-computing session.
