High-speed mobile network technology deployed globally from 2009 onward, primarily using LTE (Long Term Evolution) standards. 4G provides average speeds exceeding 100 Mbps (peak 1 Gbps+) and enabled smartphones, streaming video, and real-time applications like high-quality video conferencing.
