Information and Communications Technology is the umbrella term for the technologies used to handle and communicate information, computing hardware and software, networking, telecom, broadcast, and the data services built on top. The term is widely used by governments and standards bodies (ITU, ENISA) when describing digital policy, security, and skills frameworks.
