VDSL (Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line)

VDSL (and VDSL2) is the high-speed evolution of ADSL, delivering up to about 100 Mbit/s downstream and, with vectoring and G.fast, even higher rates over short copper loops. VDSL is widely used for fibre-to-the-cabinet deployments where the final copper drop runs from a street cabinet to the home.
