TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking)
Also known as: Time-Sensitive Networking, IEEE 802.1 TSN
TSN is a set of IEEE 802.1 standards that add deterministic latency, bounded jitter and high availability to standard Ethernet through time synchronisation (802.1AS), scheduled traffic (802.1Qbv), frame pre-emption (802.1Qbu) and frame replication (802.1CB). 3GPP integrates TSN with 5G in Release 16 by modelling the 5G system as a TSN bridge, so that URLLC bearers can carry industrial control traffic end-to-end.
