SID (Service Identifier)
SID, the Service Identifier, is a generic term for a number that identifies a particular telecom service or feature within a network or platform. It appears in many standards under different definitions (CDMA system identifier, IMS service identifier, etc.) and should be interpreted in the context of the specification being referenced.
