GBR / Non-GBR Bearers

In telecommunications, GBR (Guaranteed Bit Rate) bearers reserve a minimum bit rate end-to-end and are used for services such as voice and real-time video, while Non-GBR bearers are best-effort and used for general data. The bearer type is selected through the QCI in LTE or the 5QI in 5G.
