Dayparting

Dayparting in telecom is the practice of varying tariffs or service behaviour by time of day or day of week, for example, off-peak voice rates or scheduled bulk-data windows. Modern dynamic-pricing systems can also adjust based on real-time network congestion, and analogous techniques are used in advertising and content scheduling.
